e-appraisal of artwork by Russian artists of the XXth century

Terms of the appraisal service:

1) An e-appraisal is done on basis of visual information (.jpg files, see item 3 below) and other details about the work of art provided by the client to the appraisor, as well as information available to the expert.

2) The request for an e-appraisal is to be sent via e-mail by the client to the expert, the performed e-appraisal is sent via e-mail to the client.

3) To order an e-appraisal the client should provide the following informatioon:

Where and when did you get the art work?
Detailed description of the art work:
Media:
Dimensions:
Condition:
Has the piece been exhibited?
Other relevant information:

Clients should e-mail at least three JPG-pictures (front, back, signature) to gavrikov@online.ru

Time required for e-appraisal delivery to client: minimum 48 hours when received during an ordinary working week. In some instances the expert may request additional information/pictures.

5) If a presented piece does not fall within the area of expertise of the appraisor (Russian fine art of XXth century), the images will be immediately returned to the client with no charge.

6) For a completed e-appraisal the client is charged USD$50.00

7) Terms of payment: a bank cheque issued by a European/North American/Australian/New Zealand/Japanese bank and made out to Vladimir Gavrikov. The cheque is to be sent to V.L.Gavrikov P.O.Box 8745 Krasnoyarsk-36 660036 Russia.

8) Liability. The expert relies upon the serious intentions and honesty of the client and will do his best to perform best possible appraisal. The expert has no liability where an appraised item is later found to be fraudulent, and has no liability where incorrect information, deliberately or accidentally, is provided to the expert.
