without
a particular point of departure
An endless journey without beginning
or middle,
no plan for a straight approach, the potential for chance high,
random
patterns seen in light upon leaves and cast in snowfallen shadows.A
strangely outfitted vehicle invites fancies of sandcastles
and drops a cacophony
of images in its wake;
consciousness is stretched to the edge.

Recurrence
and recombination imply metaphors
but no such reality is at work;
governance
is by chance.

Sandcastle
Emergent
vistas populate changing terrain
sandy wastelands erode,
diverse forms
evolve out of dust.

Gregor Jakubowski
The
sky opens up to variables out of order,
shape, color and space reform into
one
giant continually moving tableau.

[6]"Sky
Study"
Under a swirling canopy of clouds
ethereal horizons
compress
then expand with uncompromising energy.
Out
of it a cityscape emerges of surrealistic proportions
energized by the resonance,
structures arise from the crater lake,
devoid of recognizable signs of life.
Where
once was sand, now there is water.

Early 3D work by Kano
The entranceway terminates in an elaborate
shape
from which additional pathways extend in a mysterious grid
floating
on the watery surface.
Turning away from this exotic edifice, a new vista
appears:
gently rolling waves languidly spill against a featureless shore
nondescript figures cluster motionlessly at water's edge.

"Waterscape",
Sudkovsky Rufim
Between the environment and humanity
lies food
for artistic creation; unwary travelers might find a dismal fate
if they bargain
with forces beyond their ken.

"La Chasse Galerie", Henri Julien
Suddenly
the idling boat and its passengers
might well be riding a torrent of foul
air,
dragged off to a destination further than their choosing.
Surrounded
by a darkness palpable, they are forever lost to the world
no point of egress
avails, the path itself cannot be undone;
those left behind wait and watch
in vain, transfixed under an uncertain sky.
