More strangeness dwells here as well
As no Red Queen but rather a blue peacock
Crosses the checkerboard plain

Peering beneath layers of comfort
A hidden dimension is revisited
That which is familiar
Achieves a level of mystery
Childhood memories resurface
Expectation no longer easily defined

Loosely defined by some Magritte-esque landscape,
The mind's eye view is constantly redefining;
Perception emerges as innumerable composites,
Possibilities,
Improbabilities
Or perhaps,
Simply wistful thinking
